Our class worked on dictionary skills today.
Ask your child if they had problems with looking up words.
Do you have a dictionary at home or maybe even an old set of encyclopedias?
The dollar store has small dictionaries for a dollar. It would be great to practice looking up words at home.
Remember to use the index tabs and recite the alphabet in your head. It takes practice to figure out what page the word will be on.
