Religion homework "Light To Others" is due on Friday 12-19-14

Our Religion homework "Light To Others" is due this Friday before students leave for Christmas break.  It is worth 20 points.  We have worked on this project for many class periods.  It should be almost complete.
Students are to grade it according to the given rubric.  Everyone should be receiving a great grade since they understand what I am expecting and they are self grading before I grade it!
I look forward to reviewing all of the great work.

The ballet came to our school this week!

I forgot to take pictures of our wonderful ballet performers but I did get our two great class before the performance. It was wonderful to have the many different styles of ballet dancing explained to us.  We learned a lot.  What a great way to promote the joy of dancing.

Meet Minty!

Our elf has been appearing all around our room this month.
We named it Minty because we all received a mint when it arrived!
This is where we found it today.
Thank you Minty for the candy canes. I think they were cherry flavored! Yummy!

Earthdome visited our school.

We took a trip around the globe today.
We studied the globe inside and out (we actually went inside of it).  It was absolutely amazing!
It was over 20 feet tall!
Thank you to all who made this visit happen. 
We will look forward to seeing it again sometime!

Activity sheet page 243, 244 and 245 is due on Wednesday December 17.
We had time in class to work on these.  They might be turned in already!
Please ask your child.
